Wellesley Alliance Community Church: First Blog Post

This post has been a long time coming. A lot of work has gone into getting our church to this point but, we finally have this website. For a long time, it has been a New Day. For WACC, technologically, that new day has come. Yes, we have had a Facebook Page where we have tried to keep our community and surrounding areas updated with things happening at our church but, our website helps us to expand those borders a little, and reach the broader region, especially those who are outside the World of Facebook.

This site  will have changes for sure over the next few months on how we present things but I ask you to take time to explore all of the pages on our website. Here is some guidance…

• Our Home Page has a variety of things including a brief introduction of who we are, what you can expect and what event is coming up we would like to event you to.

• An About Page that will introduce you to pour Leadership Team and give you a good idea of who and what we are all about

• The Gallery introduces you to ‘Us in Pictures’ giving you a feel of who we are in Pictures.

• The Events Page Introduces to the Main Community Based events we host every year. There are three for now, but I am sure that will increase in time. We have ideas!

• The Contact Page shows you where we are located and ways to get in contact with us should you have any questions.

• At the Bottom of ALL PAGES is the opportunity to sign up for a newsletter. Internally, that newsletter will be used regularly to communicate with all who are part of WACC. Externally, it will be used to communicate with you occasionally, especially when we what to let people know of an exciting upcoming event. We would love it very much if you would sign up and find out what is in our upcoming schedule that could be of interest to you.

As I close out this first post, let me say that this is part of a new beginning for us. You may know that we have been known as Wellesley Community Church (WCC). The name Wellesley Alliance Community Church (WACC) lets you know…

• The town we are in…Wellesley

• who we are affiliated with…The Christian and Mission Alliance Church in Canada

• That we really what to focus on Community. As a church we are a community of believers. But also as a church, we already service so many communities in the surrounding areas based on where our people live and that we desire to minister to the communities around us.

So, look around the site. Reach out to us if you need to. Come and join in on a Sunday and introduce yourself. We would love to meet you and your family. We welcome you to join in with us, a church that longs to have a deep impact for the Glory of God. The Lord said the words in Matthew 16, ‘I will build my church’. Perhaps God is calling you to become part of us to fulfill His commission along with us in our surrounding area.
